
Morocco, represented by 14 rowers, will participate, between October 23 and 26 in Tunisia, in the African qualifying rounds for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, the Paris 2024 Paralympics, and the 15th African Rowing Championships.
Morocco participates in these qualifiers alongside 19 other African countries: Angola, Benin, Côte d’Evora, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Egypt, Kenya, Libya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Senegal, Sudan, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Tunisia, the host country.
Over the course of four days, Lake Tunis will be the scene of a rich program: the African Championships for adults, under-23s and juniors, in addition to the Olympic qualifying competitions for the Paris 2024 Games.
As for the Paralympic competitions, they will be competed in men’s and women’s singles and mixed doubles.
As for the Olympic disciplines, they will be divided into singles for men and women, women’s doubles, and men’s doubles.
The 15th African Championship will be divided into three categories: adults, under 23 years and juniors.
The final match is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, October 25.
