The Jordanian football clubs recorded an unprecedented position by implementing the decision to suspend participation in the league and refusing to play the matches of the sixth round. The last two matches between Al-Wahdat and Al-Wehdat against Shabab Al-Urdun and Ma’an against Al-Salt were the day before yesterday, Saturday (September 23, 2023), while the local federation did not address this issue in the meeting. today.
The clubs took the decision to suspend participation in the league until their demands were met by the Jordanian Football Association, most notably the disbursement of 200,000 Jordanian dinars to each club and finding an official sponsor for the professional club championships for the current season 2023-2024.
The clubs asked the Football Association a few days ago to fulfill their demands, before the sixth round matches that started last Thursday with the match between Sahab and Ramtha.
