The Spanish newspaper “Relevo” said that a strong quarrel broke out between Frenchman Karim Benzema and his Portuguese coach Nuno Santo in the Al-Ittihad dressing room after facing Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya of Iraq in the AFC Champions League.
The newspaper added that the Saudi Federation is currently working to expel Nuno Santo and dismiss him from coaching the team after the dispute that occurred between him and Karim Benzema in the locker room.
The source continued: “The coach and team captain shouted at each other in front of everyone with insulting words that went beyond the limits.”
