
Adel Ramzy, Wydad Athletic Club’s coach, heaped praise on his players after defeating Nigeria’s Enyimba with three unanswered goals, this evening, Thursday, in the second leg of the African League quarter-finals.
Ramzi said in a statement after the end of the match: “The players played an excellent match, and played with great concentration throughout the minutes. I am very satisfied with the level of the players because we did not suffer defensively.”
He added: “The most important thing in the match is that we won in the first round, which opened the way for us to give other players the opportunity in the second half.”
It is known that Wydad Athletic Club will face Esperance of Tunisia in the semi-finals of the African League.
