Wydad Athletic Club secured a large financial grant after qualifying for the final of the African League in its first edition.
Wydad Athletic Club reached the final after defeating Esperance of Tunisia on penalties, securing the Moroccan team a grant worth at least 3 billion centimes.
The winner of the first edition of the African League will receive a grant worth 4 billion centimes, while the runner-up will receive a grant worth 3 billion.
It should be noted that Wydad Athletic Club will meet in the final with the winner of the Egyptian Al-Ahly match against Sun Downs of South Africa.
