Bulldozers storm Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca

Rehabilitation work on the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca began today, Tuesday, to prepare it to host the matches of the African Cup of Nations scheduled to be held in Morocco in 2025 and the 2030 World Cup.

The work began with the entry of bulldozers to demolish the headquarters located under the stands and approach the columns installed in them, as the match between Raja Athletic Club and FUS Rabat, which was held on its ground yesterday, Monday, was the last match that the complex received, before it was rehabilitated.

The works are expected to take about 14 months and will be completed at the end of December 2024, that is, a few weeks before the launch of “Alkan”.
