Esperance of Tunisia qualifies for the semi-finals of the African League

Tunisian club Esperance officially qualified for the semi-finals of the African League after defeating Mazembe 3-0, this evening, Thursday.

The Esperance match against Mazembe was held at the Hammadi Al-Aqrabi Olympic Stadium in the second leg of the African Football League quarter-finals.

The goals of Esperance were scored by Yassine Meriah, Osama Boufarra and Togay Mohamed Amin.

With this result, Esperance qualifies for the semi-finals with a score of 3-1 on aggregate, noting that the Tunisian team lost in the first leg to Mazembe with a clean goal.

Esperance will meet in the semi-final with the winner of the match between Wydad Athletic Club and Enyimba of Nigeria.
