The Wydad Athletic bus was pelted with stones while it was heading towards Rades Stadium, to face Esperance of Tunisia, in the match scheduled for today, Wednesday, in the second leg of the African League semi-finals.
Some Esperance Tunisian fans lurked on the Wydad Sports bus as it was heading towards Radès Stadium and threw stones at it after it passed near them.
Despite the heavy security guard that accompanied the Moroccan team bus to the stadium, Esperance fans insisted on threatening the safety of the Moroccan team players by throwing stones at the team bus.
It remains to be noted that Wydad Athletic Club had won the first leg over Esperance of Tunisia with an unanswered goal in the first leg, which was held at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
