Achraf Hakimi, the Moroccan national team player, expressed his great sadness over the earthquake that occurred in the Kingdom of Morocco on Friday evening, which left large numbers of victims and wounded.
Hakimi said, in a tweet on his personal account on the social networking site “X” (formerly Twitter): “I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who helps save lives: emergency services, the army, police, firefighters, doctors, and all volunteers.”
The Moroccan international added in the same post: “You are the heroes of this tragedy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Hakimi concluded his post by saying: “All my best wishes for a speedy recovery for the wounded, and all strength for those suffering from the loss of family and friends… We will never forget them.”
