Injuries confused national voter Walid Regragui before the start of the Moroccan national team’s campaign in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup finals.
The duo, Salim Amlah, the Spanish midfielder for Valencia, Ismail Sibari, the Dutch striker for PSV Eindhoven, and Azzedine Ounahi, the French Olympique Marseille player, were added to the Moroccan national team’s injured list.
The list of injured people also includes Sofiane Boufal, the Qatari Al Rayyan player, Zakaria Abu Khalal, the French Toulouse player, and Oussama Al Azouzi, the Italian Bologna player, who are continuing the recovery phase.
The national team will begin its World Cup qualifiers campaign against Tanzania on November 21, in light of the trend towards canceling the match against Eritrea scheduled for November 16 due to the possibility of the Atlas Lions’ opponent withdrawing from the qualifiers.
It should be noted that national voter Walid Regragui will announce the final list of the Moroccan national team next Thursday, in preparation for participation in the World Cup qualifiers during the international break for the current month of November.
