Officially… an Egyptian coach has been appointed to train the Moroccan handball team

The Royal Moroccan Handball Federation announced today, Monday, that it has contracted with Egyptian coach Abdel Salam Mesbah to supervise the training of the national team for the game.

The university said, in a statement, that it had reached a final agreement with coach Misbah to train the national team, which will enter a preparatory camp in the presence of all players starting next week.

She added that during this training camp, the national elements will participate in four matches, two against the Democratic Republic of Congo and two against the Guinea national team.

She pointed out that “following the inability of the Egyptian coach Ayman Salah Abdel Hamid Delarue to begin his work as coach of the Moroccan national handball team, due to compelling family circumstances that befell him two days before his arrival to Morocco, the director office of the Royal Moroccan Handball Federation decided, after understanding his situation and the circumstances, to Which prevented him from joining Morocco, accept his apology.”

During a press conference that the university will hold next November 1 in Casablanca, the new coach of the national team will be presented, as well as the general preparatory program for the national elite’s participation in the African Nations Championship, which will be held next January in Egypt and qualifies for the World Championship and the Olympic Games.
