Today, Monday, Sevilla officially announced the return of veteran defender Sergio Ramos for one season.
Sevilla said in a statement: “Sevilla FC and Sergio Ramos have reached an agreement in order to include him in the Sevilla squad. This is the return of the centre-back, who returns to his home almost two decades after he left, at the age of only 19, for Real Madrid.”
Ramos returned to Seville after the end of his contract on June 30 with Paris Saint-Germain, where he spent two seasons with the French club.
Sevilla confirmed that Ramos had signed a one-season contract.
