The Moroccan women’s national team defeated its Namibian counterpart with two unanswered goals, in the match that brought them together this evening, Tuesday, in the second round of the qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Iman Saud opened the scoring for the Atlas Lionesses in the 76th minute, and Ghizlan Shebak added the second goal from a penalty kick in the 89th minute.
With this victory, the national team guaranteed its qualification to the next round after it had won the first leg by two unanswered goals.
The Atlas Lionesses will meet in the third round of the qualifiers with the Tunisian national team.
