In this regard, Idriss Diallo, President of the Ivorian Football Federation, said that “CAF” decided to increase the number of players in the final lists of the teams to 27 teams instead of 23 players.
National voter Walid Regragui had previously complained about reducing the number of players on the final roster of the Cannes to 23 players, due to the need for several options in all positions.
It should be noted that the Moroccan national team will begin its campaign in Cannes by facing Tanzania on January 17, then the Democratic Republic of Congo on January 21, and will face Zambia in the third match on January 24.
