Wydad coach Adel Ramzy confirmed that facing Mamelodi Sun Downs, South Africa, in the first leg of the African League final, will be a good test for the Red Team to determine the level of the group.
Ramzi said in the press conference for the match: “We are proud that we have been able, up until this moment, to honor Moroccan football by reaching the final.”
He continued: “This tournament is very difficult, to play in Africa every two or three days, and we are talking here about travel that extends for 5 or 6 hours, with the humidity factor. This indicates that for the first time I have a strong group on the mental level, which was tested during the Esperance match in We know those conditions, and we tried to win and return with the qualification that we are proud of.”
He concluded his speech by saying: “This is a final, another interview against another team. In this match, it will be ball against ball, and there will be no stones on the bus or talk from here or there, and this is what we want,” Ramzi adds.
