National voter Walid Regragui invited Yahya Gibran, a player for Wydad Sports Club, to join the national team as it prepares for the two matches it will play against Liberia in Agadir and Burkina Faso in Lens, France.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation stated, in a statement published on its official website this evening, Thursday, that the national team coach summoned the player, Yahya Jeeran, to replace the injured Sofiane Amrabat.
On the other hand, the national team will head tomorrow, Friday, to Agadir, where it will have its last training session before the match with Liberia, which will take place the day after tomorrow, Saturday.
It is noteworthy that the Moroccan national football team, which plays in Group 11, had secured a ticket to the 2023 African Cup of Nations finals, which are scheduled to be organized in Côte d’Ivoire from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
