Spanish Football Federation: A minute of silence at matches in honor of the earthquake victims

The Spanish Football Federation announced that a minute’s silence will be observed in all second-tier matches in honor of the victims of the Moroccan earthquake.

The Federation stated that in the Spanish First Division, a minute of silence will be observed in the next round (September 16 and 17).

It is noteworthy that, as a result of the recent earthquake that struck on the evening of Friday, September 8, 2023, and its epicenter was located in the “Aghil” community in Al Haouz Province, the number of victims, as of ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, September 9, reached 820 deaths and 672 injuries, including Including 205 serious injuries.
