Today, Wednesday, Moroccan rower Magdalene Alaoui booked her ticket for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, at the conclusion of the African Rowing Elimination Tournament, which was organized on the water course of Lake Tunis.
This qualification comes after she occupied first place in the final standings (B) in her category, the women’s slalom race.
Thus, Magdalene Alaoui will be the only Moroccan rowing representative at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Thanks to Magdalene, Moroccan rowing will have a second participation in the Paris 2024 Olympics after the first participation in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The 15-year-old and under-23 African Championship competitions, as well as the qualifying competitions for the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics, which started on October 23 in Tunisia, conclude today, Wednesday.
