Wydad Athletic Club writes to the organizers of the “African League” to defend its fans in Tunisia

Wydad Athletic Club wrote to the organizing committee of the African League in order to defend and secure its fans, who traveled to Tunisia to support the team in its match against Esperance, in the second leg of the African Super League semi-final.

The Moroccan team called on CAF officials to protect the safety of its fans, who traveled to Tunisia on various trips to support the team in its match against Esperance.

The club continued in its correspondence: “Threatening letters against Wydad Club fans were widely circulated on social media platforms, and we even have videos documenting the persecution of those who arrived in Tunisia as soon as they left the airport.”

It is noteworthy that Wydad Athletic Club will be a guest of Esperance of Tunisia, tomorrow, Wednesday, starting at four in the afternoon at Rades Stadium, in the second leg of the African League semi-finals.
