Wydad Sports Club defeated its South African guest, Mamelodi Sundowns, today, Sunday, with two goals to one, at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, in the first leg of the African League final.
Wydadi’s goal bore the fingerprints of Lahtimi, in the 41st minute, before the South African team equalized the result after the referee announced a penalty kick.
A powerful shot by player Anas Sargat in the 78th minute allowed the South African team to penetrate the goal and advance the score, awaiting the result of the return match in South Africa.
